What is AuthTally?
AuthTally is a voting and event platform for contests, competitions, awards, and audience-choice events, things like talent shows, dance recitals, school contests, car shows, and workplace competitions. Organizers create an event, add entries, and share a single QR code or link for people to vote.
Do voters need to create an account or download an app?
No. AuthTally runs entirely in the browser. Voters scan a QR code or open a link, vote, and that's it. No app download, no account required (unless the organizer turns on email or password verification).
Can people vote more than once?
Organizers choose a voter verification method: fully anonymous, a shared 6-digit event password, or email verification (a one-time code sent to each voter's inbox) to prevent duplicate voting.
Is AuthTally free to use?
Yes. There's a free tier for smaller events. Paid tiers unlock more entries and live public leaderboards for larger or more public events.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes. Organizers can permanently delete their account and all associated events, entries, and images from their settings.
