Acceptance of Terms
By using AuthTally, a product of AR Development, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
Description of Service
AuthTally is a platform for creating and running voting-based events and contests. Organizers create events, add or collect entries, and share a link or QR code for voters to participate.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an organizer account and are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
Organizer Responsibilities
As an organizer, you are responsible for:
- The accuracy and legality of the content in your events and entries
- Choosing voter verification settings appropriate for your audience, including any additional care needed for events involving minors
- Complying with applicable laws regarding any personal information you collect from voters or entry submitters through your event (for example, email addresses collected via the email verification option)
- Obtaining any consent required from entry submitters or voters under applicable law
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use AuthTally to run contests that are illegal, to harass or defame others, to collect personal information beyond what these terms and applicable law permit, or to attempt to interfere with or abuse the voting system (including scripted or automated voting).
Content Ownership
You retain ownership of the content you upload (event details, entries, images). By using AuthTally, you grant AuthTally a license to host, store, and display that content as necessary to operate the service, including on public voting and submission pages.
Pricing and Payment
AuthTally uses one-time, per-event pricing rather than subscriptions. Free events are subject to published limits (event count, entry count, and results visibility). Paid tiers (Plus and Pro) unlock higher limits and additional features for a specific event, described on the Pricing page.
Refunds: all one-time Plus and Pro purchases are final once applied to an event. AuthTally does not offer refunds for completed purchases.
Termination
AuthTally may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time.
Disclaimers
AuthTally is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AuthTally does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AuthTally and AR Development are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Bexar County, Texas.
Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of AuthTally after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
